Autoscreenz™ is a SAWRA Accredited Specialist Certified Training Provider (SCTP), delivering structured professional training in windscreen repair, windscreen replacement and related automotive capabilities.
Our training model combines structured learning, practical development and competency assessment — helping technicians and businesses build real operating capability, not simply attend a short course.
PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Autoscreenz™ professional programmes are structured differently from traditional one-day training.
Learners complete the professional knowledge component progressively, followed by in-person practical training and competency assessment.
This allows theory, safety and technical understanding to be developed before valuable practical time is used to build and assess hands-on capability.

Frequently Asked Questions
The structured knowledge component of applicable Autoscreenz™ SCTP programmes is completed online. Practical training and competency assessment are conducted primarily at the Autoscreenz™ Training Centre in Brackendowns, Alberton, Gauteng. Selected commercial or regional practical sessions may be available by arrangement.
Duration depends on the programme.
Professional Headlight Restoration includes 12+ hours of structured learning.
Professional Windscreen Chip & Crack Repair includes 16+ hours.
Professional Windscreen Replacement includes 24+ hours.
Applicable practical training and competency assessment are completed separately in person.
No previous experience is required for the Professional Training pathway.
Experienced technicians may instead apply for the Autoscreenz™ Private Industry Recognition of Prior Learning & Experience pathway.
Not necessarily to begin the professional learning programme.
Appropriate professional equipment is required for operational implementation. Applicants and businesses may be advised on suitable equipment depending on the capability being developed.
Professional Technician Training develops knowledge and practical competency through structured learning and assessment.
System Setup & Tool-Use Training is a one-on-one implementation session for qualifying Autoscreenz™ equipment purchasers and focuses on the correct use of the specific system purchased.
Tool-use training does not replace professional technician competency training.
Accommodation is not included in the training fee.
Our training centre is conveniently located in Brackendowns, Alberton, close to several shopping centres, restaurants and accommodation options, including Mall of the South. We’re happy to recommend nearby accommodation if you’re travelling from outside Gauteng.
Successful completion of the applicable Autoscreenz™ SCTP training and competency requirements results in the relevant training and competency record for the programme completed.

Most training is conducted at the Autoscreenz™ Training Centre in Brackendowns, Alberton, Gauteng. Selected programmes may also be delivered at approved client premises or by arrangement in other regions where appropriate.
